Concept

Ecocriticism: It was a Victorian pastime for hunters such as the Lion Hunter and Great White Hunter to travel at the beginning of winter to Leeu-Gamka in the Cape Colony to hunt gathering lion prides. They would return to England and showcase their trophies at public events such as the 1851 London Great Exhibition.

Hundreds of Cold Cubs is a representation of hollow trophies in memory of orphaned cubs that faced lonesome winters at Leeu-Gamka.
